A remake of the movie El agente topo (2020)

Charles, a retiree, gets a new lease on life by answering a private investigator’s ad and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Michael Schur was inspired to make "A Man On the Inside" after watching the Chilean documentary «The Mole Agent.» He says, «The Mole Agent» documentary is powerful because it makes people feel something very similar to people of any age, ethnicity, or gender, and I would describe that feeling in a very reductive way as, «I have to call my mom.» In our show, we tried to do something similar with the tone: does our show encourage that feeling of wanting to call our moms?

I love Ted Danson!

And he played a very good Widower who is stuck in the routine of grieving after the loss of his wife. The show is heartwarming and depicts the companionship both family and friends need as they grow older, especially after the loss of a loved one.

It’s also hilarious and silly in typical Danson style

It’s easy to watch, easy to laugh at with touching moments, and I can’t wait for season two! It starts off quick and easy to get into and is easy to watch all 8 episodes.

And it doesn’t hurt to have a great cast!

I recommend it to anyone who enjoys silly comedies but also wants something to feel good about.
