The men and women live in a giant underground silo with more regulations than they think are there to protect them from the toxic, ruined world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what sci-fi is all about. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of Wool; — the book is 82 chapters long. The fans on the floor in several episodes spin in the wrong direction, relative to the orientation of the blades. Spinning this way doesn’t push or pull air. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows of 2023 You Should Get Rid Of (2023) I really liked Silo. Just my kind of show. I love mystery and suspense. I hadn’t read or heard of the books Silo is based on. The story is good and interesting. The series takes place 140 years after the apocalypse. The 10,000 people left now live in a silo, and these people have never been outside the silo. They don’t even know what stars are. They do know, however, that it is fatal to leave the silo. Some people choose to go outside to learn more, but they always die. Those who remain in the silo can witness through a window whenever someone wants to go outside and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliette Nichols, who tries to figure out what’s outside the silo and why they can’t get out without dying. The performances are good, as is the character development. However, the pacing can be a bit slow as there are some filler episodes. They could have definitely shortened the series by at least two episodes, but I don’t mind that much because the series as a whole is so good. We look forward to season 2 with more suspense, mystery, and answers as to what’s going on outside the silo!
