Video games have made a huge leap to the screen, and we’re celebrating the genre by taking a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations to films and shows. Clive Standen will reprise his voice role as Demetrius Titus, the protagonist of the space video game Marine 2.
They feel like amateurish efforts
Film Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024) states. The animation is beautiful, there’s no denying it. I struggle to get excited about such short episodes.
It’s nice to see some celebrities participating
You can’t fully engage as you know it’s over before you can get some kind of connection with the characters. Reeves and Arnie both play fun parts. It all felt a bit experimental and shallow to me.
The Pacman episode was ok
Plus if I had been given the choice of source material. I think I would have chosen a completely different set of games to honor. but it was a demonstration of artistic license being taken to its absolute limit.
