Denis Leary and Ray Romano both appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present)
Line of Events
It tells the story of three very different families who are trying to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they think will solve all their problems. I was surprised to see the show rated so low, but it made more sense after seeing a lot of the reviews explaining why they didn’t make it past the first episode.
I really love the cast and everyone’s acting
The show is a slow-burn mystery romp that may not be for everyone. Personally, I found it to be too fun and entertaining with a particular Liz Feldman tone that I enjoy.
By the last episode, I had gotten pretty invested in the story, despite having figured out the main twist early on
I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first due to my own biases (a lifetime of not being able to separate him from Everyone Loves Raymond), but that wore off pretty quickly. The various characters all have their own side stories that form a tangled web of chaos that gradually, though not completely, unravels.
I’m not mad about it though
I would love to see more of this show and I really hope they get a second season. There’s no need to waste time endlessly scrolling — here’s the full list of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
