A Norwegian family vacationing in La Palma is thrown into chaos when a researcher discovers signs of an imminent volcanic eruption that could trigger a massive tsunami. The geographic coordinates shown are the exact location on Tenerife that is shown as a «safe haven» from the tsunami. 28.218998 -16.414642. Aside from some of the silly, annoying character moves (we all know who they are), I enjoyed this series. It was well-paced and intense, especially the last two episodes. However, one question bothered me at the end of the series that prompted me to write this review. If you could protect yourself from the gas and lava, wouldn’t it have been safer to stay on La Palma? The tsunami was heading the other way, away from the island (unlike the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami, which started in the middle of the sea and hit the coast), so you would think that being on high ground on the other side of the landslide would have given you some protection.
