Five years after Jurassic World Dominion, an expedition ventures to isolate the equatorial regions to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures in a groundbreaking medical breakthrough. Gareth Edwards «dropped everything» to direct the film, stating before production: «I was taking a break and started writing my next idea for a film, and this is the only film that made me drop everything like a rock and dive right in.
