John Crowley creates a simple and predictable love story that is nothing special, but captures a beautiful presentation with two solid performances from Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh throughout.

With good music, simple dialogue and structure, it still maintains an emotional connection with its viewers as the chemistry and banter between the two leads is watchable and good

Sure, due to its predictable style, it feels a bit long with its pacing and some elements may put you to sleep, but overall, Crowley’s direction and Garfield and Pugh’s performances kept it going.
