Line of Events
The Time Variance Authority offers Deadpool a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. The Deadpool and Wolverine team-up shares how they avoided off-color jokes, and Emma Corrin shares what it was like working with likable megastars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. He then said that he regretted that statement after watching the first Deadpool movie and expressed to Ryan his interest in having the two characters meet on the big screen. When asked why he chose to return for this movie, he simply said, “I just wanted to do it, and I felt it in my gut,” adding that he wanted to have the best time possible on a movie set alongside Ryan Reynolds. Similarly, Reynolds wanted to work alongside Jackman since the first Deadpool movie and was sad when he (Jackman) backed out of the role.

While Wolverine and Deadpool are making their odyssey in the Honda Odyssey, the car’s clock is set three hours ahead during their conversation. Elliot Chipman: That’s Deadpool. Kevin Chipman: That’s Wolverine. Fox killed him. Disney brought him back.

Between the one-liners and the endless flow of jokes… The chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman completely blows it away!
So good!… What I can say about this movie is that they (the entire team behind the movie) never hesitated for a second to go all out, with everything they had in store, throwing out everything they had on hand and everything in between. What I loved is how highly satisfying the movie is from the first to the last second, as far as all the little (or not so little) winks to the audience go, especially if you connect with the characters and their previous iterations… But what you can really appreciate and what makes the whole movie (and the scenes/story bits) more enjoyable is all the emotional layer and the really fun connections that happen (the return or introduction of several characters was really well done and really cool to watch)… These guys clearly know what they’re doing. It’s so over-the-top crazy and the frame is so overloaded with stuff… Oh, and the tone of the movie is something else! The introduction sequence is a masterpiece… The “hallway” type fight scene (which is actually on a street) around the end of the movie, is just… a feast of madness.

Also, the soundtrack is – as in the previous movies – super satisfying. I’m pretty excited for what’s coming next in the MCU and for these characters we’ve seen in this movie… The final season of «What We Do in the Shadows» is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
